This year was largely horrible. My move to New York, which helped me socially and (perhaps) intellectually, has been a series of extended financial disasters, usually combined with naive and ill-fated roommate attempts. I was hospitalized, broken up with, and had my bank account emptied via ATM HACKERS. I moved 3 times in 4 months and lost almost everything I owned either by not having the time or money to adequately plan to move everything, or by making “deals” that didn’t “pan out”.
I only wish that there was some way on here to track how many terrible decisions I’ve made, cross-referenced with shit life has generously slung onto my plate. I would say 2005 was something rather far shy of 93% worth living, and might have been around 43% instead.

CONS for 2005:

- Several heavy hits on the assertiveness front
- Finances
- Finances
- General feeling of “one step forward, two steps back” to everything
